  • Your initial consultation will involve taking a full medical history, a physical examination (if required) and a plan for investigation with ongoing management if appropriate, of your gastrointestinal condition. As a patient of Coastal Gastroenterology you will have access to our online resources which will provide you with the information you need to understand your condition and any ongoing treatment required.
  • With your formal consent, our communication with you will be via email, telephone, and text message.
  • If you are +75yo and/or frail, have multiple complex medical problems, have severe respiratory or cardiac problems, you will require a consultation prior to any endoscopic procedures. This will allow discussion of the risks and benefits of these procedures and will ensure your medical conditions are optimised prior to your procedure.
